will ferrell deserves an oscar. no, really. who says you have to play a tragic character to win an oscar? elf was absolutely the best holiday movie... and it was all due to the fact that buddy (will's character) never dropped a beat - he was consistently rambunctious, naive, and silly. ed asner and bob newhart didn't hurt either.
it truly gave me that first flutter of the christmas spirit... it was fabulous and funny. take a kid when you go....
