i know that earlier in the week i was a stress monkey, and that stress was caused by work issues. but my new job is unequivocally better than my old job.

earlier this week i recieved an email from one of my favorite people at my last job. the following is an excerpt:

" 'k' quit and her last day was friday. she gave notice 6 weeks ago, but we haven't even posted her job yet. hoping to get someone hired before the end of the year. 'bossman' left her a goodbye post-it note after she had already left the building for the last time. actual words: "gotta run, but thanks for your two years of hard work." it's still on her monitor."

lesson: never accept a job in health insurance.
